From our New President, Dick Keiser:

The NSDA has an oportunity to do a dealer’s bourse at the APS Hartford, Ct show on 13 Aug 2008.
Time is from 0930 to 1500 13 Aug 2008.
The cost for an 8ft table and 3 chairs is $75.00 per table. The bourse will be held in the Regency Auction area. The ASDA will also host a bourse there too.
Dick will need at least 8 Dealers to sign up. If you interested, please inform the admin assistant (gail@nsdainc.org) before 1 June 2008 with the number of tables required.
Full payment is required by 1 Jun. No refunds after that date.
Once again, a minimum of 8 dealers are required

Just in off the email. We now can pay our dues via Pay Pal thanks to good work by our Treasurer, Michael Ball.

In preparation for our planned new website, we are seeking a current picture from each member. Here is a chance for your clients to see you around the world as part of your membership. Please send your picture to the NSDA office. We can make them the right size.
Color is preferred.
We have been informed by Kenny that a good friend of many of our members, Jack Solens passed away on July 21, 2007. Go in peace my friend.
We are started the new year, with our office moving to WA. State, and a new Office person in the person of Gail Giordano, of Silverdale, WA. A new vice president, Treasurer and several new regional reps on our board. Check out the officers and board members page.

We wish to Thank Sharon Chang, who has done this task for the last few years. She stepped in and helped out when help seemed unavailable. Thank You Sharon.

We also want to Thank Bob Chang for taking the responsibility of having been our Treasurer since our founding. Bob has put a lot of his time and effort into managing our finances. Thank You is somehow just not enough, but THANK YOU BOB.

News from the APS show in Riverside:
A huge THANK YOU to our volunteers at the APS Riverside Show: Bob Horlikofer, Bob Lamb, Alan Lipkin, Roger Gutzman, David Tomeraasen, Hugh Mackin, and Mike Campbell who helped Sherry man our table at the front entrance to the show.
We have a new volunteer for our advertising manager. Thank you Cecilia Ball for sticking your neck out and working for 3 times pay ($0.00 X3). We appreciate you. Contact information is on our office and publicity page.
We recruited 1 new member at the show.
NSDA Presented the APS Youth program, APS All Star Stamp Collectors with a donation of $500.00. Another donation of $500.00 was presented to The Youth Stamp Collectors Club run by Carol Edholm in Seattle, WA. The board voted these donations to encourage our young collectors.
Thank you to the members from your webmaster, Ray L. Coughlin, who was awarded the NSDA's Dealer of the Year Award for 2006 at the Dealer Breakfast. I'm flabbergasted and honored.

We have have NSDA plastic bags in a slightly larger size than the previous ones.

We have established an ongoing banner ad linking to the NSDA website at stampshows.com on their homepage.
Effective on September 1, 2005 we will make available to any CLUB Stamp Show with exhibits that has a minimum of 5 NSDA Dealers in its bourse a special category award. We named it: The NSDA Peoples Choice Award. We will provide this to the clubs free of charge. Contact Sherry of Gail for more information.

Please inform the clubs where you do shows of this new award. It will help them and US.
