Why Join the NSDA?
The NSDA offers its members the following services:
1. Members all subscribe to a code of ethics.
2. Toll Free office number: (800) 875-6633 and talk about your ideas
and concerns. We are the only major stamp organization to offer a toll
free number.
3. Our Organization is the USA representative for the International
Federation of Stamp Dealers (IFSDA). Only one dealer organization per
country is allowed and we are the US affiliate. We pay the $15.00 dues
for each of you out of your dues. You get a bi-annual membership
roster, quarterly newsletter, and your membership card
At the 2 National APS shows we maintain a dealer courtesy booth for our
members, offering a place sit and relax, put informational flyers and
to help
walk in collections find our member dealers on the show floor.
4. We have a website that lists our dealers, Check the website for a
listing of current members and their e-mail & web links, street
address, and phone numbers.
5. Expert Opinion Committee, Dealers to Dealers with discounted fees to
members.
6. NSDA News Letter with a Free 25-word ad, in our quarterly
newsletter, if you submit by the 15th of March, June, September,

7. Arbitration Committee to settle disputes.
8. Membership Directory, cd copy or print as requested.
9. We hold a dealer only bourse national semi-annual shows (if an
interest is shown). A very nominal fee (usually less than $100.00-only
NSDA Dealers are eligible to sell) is charged. Our members are admitted
free, as are all member is good standing of the IFSDA, ASDA, or other
foreign associations.
10. Offer stamp dealer ins. coverage (all Risk) thru one of our local
members.
12. Yearly Annual Meeting, usually at the APS Stamp Show in August.
13. While they last, NSDA gives you free plastic bags to use for customer purchases. NSDA Nationally known, Internationally recognized.
14. We have for the asking a Placard for you to use at shows or your shop. A logo for your web page, ads or business card. These allow you display the fact you are proud to be a member of the National Stamp Dealers Association.
15. Periodically we do an ad campaign to promote the NSDA. Currently we Sponsor the most Popular Exhibit at the 2 APS shows with award and Ribbon. And the most popular at the ATA show, with an award.
Starting September 1, 2005, any club show with exhibits that has a minimum of 5 NSDA dealers in their bourse, can apply for the NSDA People's Choice Award free of charge.
The NSDA will award a $25.00 gift certificate to the appropriately judged 1st. place winner in the "Youth Single / Multiple Frame Competition". The award is available to any stamp club show that has 5 or more NSDA dealers setting up at the bourse. The gift certificate can be spent at any NSDA dealer booth or with any NSDA member from the website.
For NSDA dealers: After honoring the $25.00 gift certificate, please
mail it to the Treasurer, Michael Ball for payment. A check will be
mailed back to you. Michael Ball's address can be obtained from the
website or the membership directory.
16. Dealer of the Year Award: Submit nominee to the board, must be
an NSDA member and support the hobby in multiple ways.
17. Liaisons in each section of the US and we now have some State Reps
